This Week’s Fresh Fish Offering

~ Pacific Grenadier ~

Pacific Grenadier, also commonly referred to as “Pacific Roughy,” tastes like the Orange Roughy’s smarter, better looking, more sophisticated, Pacific cousin. This is a great option for anyone who doesn’t typically like fish or for picky eaters. It is mild, flaky, delicious (albeit not a very handsome fish fella) and incredibly versatile. Fresh, local Grenadier is caught using sustainably friendly catch methods and unloaded across Giovanni’s very own docks- it doesn’t get ANY fresher than this. Often used for fish and chips this mild fish is great pan fried, sautĂ©ed, broiled or baked…

Try These Delicious Paired Recipes:

Dijon Marinated Grenadier Fillets
Baked Grenadier with Winter Vegetables & Broccoli Puree
Monterey Bay Grenadier Tacos with Cilantro Lime Coleslaw
Greek Baked Fish with Tomatoes & Onions

Fish is supplied by Giovanni’s Fish Market and Grotto in Morro Bay.
