This week we’re taco-ing it up with a SLO Veg’s Taco fiesta week!
Your beautiful box will be filled with delicious Mexican flavor fare to tailor your favorite tacos. Whether you are making fish tacos with our locally sourced fish, some vegan tacos with an abundance of veggies, or dessert tacos with a caramelized stone fruit filling; we want to see them.

By following SLO Veg on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter pages as well as tagging us and a friend in a posted photo of your tacos made using our veggies, fruits, and/or marketplace items you will be entered to win a complimentary harvest box!
We’ll enter you name in our drawing and announce the winner next Monday Aug 17.  Let the Taco face-off begin Monday August 10th!

Fruits & Veggies Storage Tips: Refrigerate all items as soon as possible. All items will remain fresh when following these tips!

Microgreens – Store in a dark location in your fridge. Light sensitive.
Cabbage – Store in a baggie in crisper.
Tomatoes – Store on counter top. Refrigerate when super ripe to slow ripening.
Cucumber – Wrap in Saran Wrap store in crisper.
Avocado – Store on counter top till ripe,  refrigerate to slow ripening.
Cilantro – Rinse. Trim stems, place in water, wrap with Saran Wrap, store in fridge.
Peaches – Store on counter top till juicy 2-3 days, or place directly in to crisper.
Nectarines – Store on counter top till juicy 2-3 days, or place directly in to crisper.

Celery – Rinse. Wrap tightly with aluminum foil, store in crisper.
Lettuce – Rinse. Store in a baggie or container with a damp paper towel in fridge.
