With Mother’s Day right around the corner, we want to not only show our love for the Rockstar mom’s in our community, but we also want to share some tips and tricks on how to make this Mother’s Day extra fun and extra special for all the amazing women in our lives that make the world go ‘round!

For me, Mother’s Day has always involved showing my love to all the women in my life that have helped me to grow, learn, and feel empowered as the woman I am. From aunts to grandmothers, neighbors and godmothers, we’ve got a whole lot to celebrate this Sunday.
Extraordinary Brunch
Amp up breakfast in bed with some of the offerings from this week’s box! If you have some from previous boxes, try adding some chopped beets to your blended pancake mix (just a small amount will do the trick) to make some delicious pink pancakes. Or, dress up your toppings with some chocolate covered strawberries! Use any of our juices for a little mimosa moment, or try our eggs for a fresh and filling homemade omelet.

Chocolate Gift-Card Sandwich
This gift idea is my go-to when I’m pressed for time, It’s so easy, and is always a hit. All you need is two chocolate bars (larger granola bars work too), a gift card, tape, and some ribbon or string. Taking the gift card of your choice, tape it onto the front of one of the chocolate bars. Ideally, the chocolate bar is wider than the gift card so the card can stay concealed. Then, use your tape to adhere the second chocolate bar onto the gift card, forming a little sandwich. Use your ribbon to tie a little bow on the front. Then, all you need is a thoughtful card and boom, best gift ever. Our Mama Ganache chocolate barks are great for this gift idea, so make sure to head to our marketplace to stock up.
Mason Jar Spa Kit
Treat your loved one with a portable relaxation kit! I did this for my mom a few years ago and she absolutely loved it. All you need is a couple of fun beauty samples (can be lotion, scents, face masks, or additional skincare/cosmetics) and some of your person’s favorite go-to products. I remember putting in some of my mom’s favorite lip care, sunscreen, and aroma-therapy lotion. You can also make body scrubs with some of our Wind Dance Farm olive oils, and your favorite smelling essential oils. Add all your products to the jar and finish it off with a cute ribbon!
Scenic Picnic
Surprise your loved one with the picnic of their dreams! Repurpose your Coffee Grounds- Brownies!
Remember those coffee grounds from breakfast? Don’t compost them yet! They’re a key player in this amazing dessert! The bitterness from the coffee grounds harmonize perfectly with the sweet decadence of the chocolate in this recipe. We have a huge selection of coffee from JoeBella Coffee Roasters. Our staff recommends the Blonde Roast, but I think it would be fun to try out the Winter Spice Blend for these guys.
I love brownies because they’re easy to make and hard to mess up, perfect for kids and those who may not be as handy in the kitchen. Pair these with a cozy blanket and your person’s favorite movie for a relaxing end to a beautiful Mother’s Day!
