~ Happy Holiday’s ~ We’re Jinglin’ All The Way December 9-13, 2019
We’re extra grateful to have a great supply of fruits and veggies this time of the year. The holidays can bring up our stress levels and lower our immune system (the last thing we want this time of the year!), but eating lots of healthy fruits & veggies can help balance things and keep us in good health. This is our first week to introduce readily available citrus for the season. We hope you enjoy it! As you’re running around preparing to spread your love and joy with all your friends and families, don’t forget to give a little TLC to yourself as well! 💕

This Week’s Fresh Fish Selection:

Monday Fish: Fresh Local Salmon

Tuesday – Friday Fish: Fresh Sushi Grade “Hawaiian Tombo” Albacore Tuna or Local Salmon

(local salmon has been pre-ordered for our current subscribers who dislike tuna)

Hawaiian Tombo Albacore Tuna Characteristics: Hawaiian Tombo is like no other albacore tuna in the world. Albacore from Hawaii grow to a much larger size than any other location in the world. Often reaching sizes of 70 lbs and more. These large albacore also have bright red sashimi meat. The meat is great for substitutes for many raw ahi applications. Clear and translucent in appearance, bright red albacore looks more like candy when served raw.

Suggested Fish Recipe:

Seared Tuna Salad with Lemon Caper Dressing

Fish Supplied by Giovanni’s Fish Market & Grotto in Morro Bay
