Fresh Local Halibut Fillets
What Is the Flavor of Halibut Like? This lean fish has a mild, sweet tasting white flesh, similar to tilapia. It’s thicker and firmer than cod. Because the flavor is so gentle, halibut pairs well with bolder seasonings like pesto, lemon juice and basil.

Fish is supplied by Giovanni’s Fish Market and Grotto in Morro Bay.
Fish subscribers, please remember to set out an insulated cooler with a frozen gel pack or plenty of ice in it on your scheduled delivery day. Should we need to leave one, please set it out for return on your next delivery. We recycle. Thank you!

Hey there SLO Veg Friends!  We’re always looking for ways to improve our service! Many of you prefer your boxes delivered to your front porch.  We strive to place them in the shade on every porch, but as we all know the sun shifts throughout the day and could be shining on your fresh harvests and wilting the fresh greens.  Please send us an email to share where to place your box. Nobody likes wilty greens! We want all of your delicate items to remain fresh when you arrive home.  Send an email to: service@sloveg.com.

Fish, Kombucha and Cold Items: Please set out a cooler with frozen gel packs or ice to place your fresh items into.  We typically bring a few extra frozen gel packs just in case you forget.  Should you forget, please wash and set out the gel packs we leave for return.  We will wash and reuse them in the future if possible. Thank you!
