Fish Descriptions:

Swordfish is one of the meatiest fish you will find; cut into “steaks,” making it ideal for grilling and skewering, as well as other cooking methods that don’t fare well with more delicate fish varieties. The mildly sweet flavor is perfect for the addition of marinades and sauces, and the cooked fish results in a moist, somewhat meat-like texture. The Spruce Eats

Black Cod
Also known as Sablefish and Butterfish, is a gourmet fish with a rich, buttery flavor and delicate, silky texture. Sable is versatile, and its high-fat content makes it forgiving to the novice cook because the fat acts as a buffer against overcooking. Pacific black cod tends to falls apart easily. If you want your result to be more firmly textured, brine the fillets in a salt brine of 1/4 cup of salt to 1 quart of water plus 2 cups of crushed ice for 20 minutes.
Its fat content also makes it a prime candidate for smoking. Excellent raw, pan-roasted, and grilled. The Spruce Eats

These Storage Tips Work! Refrigerate all items as soon as possible. All items will remain fresh longer when following these tips!

Melons – Are ready to refrigerate.
Pears – You may store on counter top 1-2 days. We suggest refrigerate immediately to slow ripening.
*Celery – Rinse. Wrap tightly with aluminum foil store in crisper. It will store crisp for 2 weeks + It’s an amazing tip!
Spinach – Store in bio-degradable baggie in crisper.
Grapes – Store in a perforated baggie in crisper. Grapes need a little air.
Stone Fruit – Place directly in to crisper to prevent ripening.
Tomatoes – Store on counter top ~ Refrigerate to slow ripening.
Romaine – Rinse. Store in a baggie crisper. Or trim base place in a cup or bowl to allow it to continue to drink water. We recommend refrigerating immediately.
Carrots – Trim off greens. Rinse. Store separately in baggies in crisper.
Peppers – Store unwashed in a paper sack in crisper.
