Hello SLO Veg Family! 
We hope you’re staying warm and cozy as this week’s heavy rainfall rolls through the Central Coast. With the much-needed moisture comes a few challenges for our hardworking farmers. When fields are soaked, harvesting becomes difficult — wet crops bruise more easily, leaves can trap excess moisture, and root veggies can pull too much mud or even crack when lifted. Because of this, all produce items for next week are subject to change, depending on weather and field conditions. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way and, as always, make sure your boxes are filled with the freshest available local harvests.
As we approach Thanksgiving, please take a moment to review our holiday delivery schedule:
Deliveries will run Monday 11/24 through Wednesday 11/26 for all subscribers.
We want everyone to enjoy the seasons bounties so we’re consolidating our delivery schedule.
We will be closed Thursday 11/27 and Friday 11/28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Please check your delivery day and plan for an early-week delivery.
If you’d like extra goodies for your holiday cooking, be sure to place your additional item orders by Wednesday 11/19 so everything arrives with your Thanksgiving box. Please note that Proof & Gather baked goods, fish add-ons, and fresh juice will have earlier cut-off dates — we’ll share those details as they become available.
