Tips for Keeping Your Items Fresh:
Refrigerate all items as soon as possible with this warm weather. All items will revive when following these tips!
Apples – Store in crisper unwashed till ready to eat.
Grapefruit – Can be stored on counter 2-3 days or store in crisper.
Butternut Squash – Store in a cool location till ready to process.
Cauliflower – Rinse. Store in a sealed baggie in your crisper.
Bok Choy – Rinse. Store in a sealed baggie in your crisper.
Lettuce – Rinse. Wrap in a damp paper towel, store in a sealed baggie in crisper
Strawberries – Store in a paper towel sealed in a container.
Chard – Rinse. Store in a sealed baggie in crisper.
Cilantro – Trim ends. Place tips in a glass with water. Wrap outside of glass with a baggie or saran. Store in refrigerator.
Carrots – Rinse. Cut greens, store them separate in a baggie for a pesto. Store carrots in a baggie in crisper.
