Unbox the First Flavors of December!

Hello SLO Veg family,

We hope your Thanksgiving weekend was filled with warmth, gratitude, and those sweet moments shared around the table with family and friends. There’s something truly special about gathering together over a meal—passing dishes, telling stories, laughing, lingering—and we’re so grateful to be a small part of your celebrations. As we turn the page from November into December, we’re welcoming the winter holidays with open arms, full hearts, and plenty of cozy kitchen inspiration.

This is the perfect weekend to enjoy the delicious “day after” magic. Leftover veggies make some of the best soups and creative comfort meals—think hearty butternut squash soup, roasted veggie medleys simmered into broth, or a quick pot of everything-but-the-kitchen-sink stew. And with this coming week’s harvest, you can keep the comfort cooking going: we’re offering fresh pasilla peppers perfect for stuffing, along with crisp green or red cabbage and beautiful potatoes ready for soups, sautés, roasts, or slaws. These staples bring warmth to your winter kitchen and make it easy to stretch those holiday flavors into brand-new meals.

As the winter holidays begin to sparkle on the horizon, we’re excited to keep bringing you the freshest local harvests to help nourish your celebrations—big and small. Here’s to cozy meals, happy kitchens, and making the most of the season’s goodness.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting our local farmers and SLO Veg. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
Warm regards,
Rachael & the SLO Veg Families
